As always, good episode, but poor technical research. The gun that was recovered, ".22 caliber Ruger Mark III, rusted beyond all belief..." "...could have been tossed in the sewers twenty years ago."

Gun on tray was not a Ruger Mark III. Ruger MKIII uses a bolt, not an external hammer and slide. Ruger MKIII was introduced in 2004, not "twenty years ago."

Aaaaaand this is my pointless contribution.

Yay! Have a good Thursday everybody!

That Ruger design has not changed much since 1949 and is recognized by millions. It is odd that the show's "experts" would try to identify that pocket pistol as the well-known Ruger target pistol. It is like mis-identifying a '65 Ford Mustang as a 72 Chevy Nova. Do you find this valuable?

OMG this episode was awesome!!! Gordon Gordon rocks!

My favorite moment:
Gidget: What can I say? Got a thing for bad boys. Don't you?
Bones: No, I prefer good boys.
Booth: Really?
Bones: Yes.

We all know that Booth is a good boy!!

Love this weeks episode. It was great to see Gordan Gordan again i really like him. I can't wait till Bones and Booth get together. Now that he has admitted it to almost everyone that matters he needs to tell her. I just hope that it happens before the last episode of the season because it would really suck to have to wait to see how it turns out for them. Do you find this valuable?

Anyone else think that all the clipboard signing that went on was bizarre?? I mean all of a sudden in the middle of an important discussion of evidence, we're distracted as "Candy" brings in some test tubes to Jack..... uhhh okay. And then the test tubes didn't have anything to do with the scene! And then when Cam is working with Mr. Nigel Murray 3, count 'em THREE, different people come in to have her scribble on their clipboard. I get it if they're trying to make the lab more realistic, but it's past the point where we care about that (I mean c'mon guys it's season 5, we're already pretty hooked if you ask me). It was just distracting and silly if you ask me. I didn't catch who directed that episode, but maybe that has something to do with it. However it was a fun episode and I adore Gordon Gordon. Great ep! I'm watching the series from the start again and it's really interesting to compare both pacing, character development and, even, the way they solve the murders.
In the first seasons, the field and police work was mostly done to add to the extensive lab research, with a very technical focus. Now, if we put a case of season one against this one, on the new eps there is an amazing amount of field and detective work as well as comprehensive lab research. Sometimes to me, that makes the episode feel a bit fast compared to the old ones, since we get a more complete picture of both detective duty and lab research as well as character development; that is a LOT of info in an hour...

Anyway, just my two cents on that. Love how, instead of trying to get B&B together in a bang this season just because their love is so obvious, they make it a journey of discovery, because B&B need to grow comfortable with this possible new side and level of intimacy to their partnership.

i wuld have liked a bit more input from gordon gordon. casue he was a little short on details. i mean he never really made it clear if booth has always been in love with bones and didnt realise it becasue of the whole assult thingy, or if he simply fell in love with her in the coma and has not told her because of the assult thingy. anyone got some input?? Hart Hanson commented on his tweeter about the gun he is backing his prop people, regardless could David and Emily been any better they both rocked in this epi and I think Gordon Gordon and Sweets should open their own Psych practice Do you find this valuable?

Oh gosh, I adore them together. <33 Brennan needs to admit it, Booth did. I think Brennan should just open up, Booth has. Booth has done it all. Do you find this valuable?

I loved this episode, I think it's going to be one of my favorites. There were so many good things I'd have trouble naming them all. Gordon Gordon was a special treat ,I too would have liked him to elaborate more on Booth's love for Brennan. I agree about the clipboard signing, it was distracting and sort of odd. It was really funny when Booth was in the wrestling ring. I could go on and on, but I'll just say Bones just keeps getting better and better. Do you find this valuable?
