Dr. Temperance Brennan was sitting at her desk thinking about what had happened the day before. She closed her eyes and smiled. "Kiss Booth?" she asked. "Not on the cheek or the nose, right in the lips." Carolin said. "Why?" Brennan asked quite nervously. While Caroline answered, she was thinking in her head about what she would have to do and Booth's face appeared in her mind and she got butterflies in her stomach. She reluctantly agreed and was off to find some mistletoe. (After all thats how Caroline wanted them to do it.) She was in her office hanging up the mistletoe when Booth walked in. "Oh My God" she thought "how am I going to tell him?" He talked about the case that they were currently working on, while it seemed that she paid no attention to him because she was so nervouse and she was concentrating on how to telling him. He finally caught on and asked: "What is with the mistletoe?" She took a deep breath and began: "Caroline wants us to kiss." "What?!" he asked wide eyed. "It's the only way she will make Christmas for my family." Now he was the one that was nervous. "By kiss you mean on the cheek right?" "No on the lips." she said and then it hit her. By saying it outloud she realized that this was what she had been wanting to do since the day she met him. Caroline walked in while they were still in the middle of their conversation. "Did you talk to the judge?" Brennan asked Caroline. "Yes I did, What about your end?" Caroline said while pointing her eyes at Booth. Brennan pointed up at the mistletoe that was hanging from the ceiling. "Well look at that, mistletoe, you take a step to your right and you'll be right under the cute little thing." She said while pushing Booth under it with Brennan. "Ok this is it Brennan" she said to herself as she leaned in. The moment their lips met it felt like the world stopped around them and she finally felt content. A second after, the soft kiss that they were sharing turned into a more passionate one. Moments later, their lips parted and they both opened their eyes and looked at eachother. For that moment Brennan thought she saw what she hoped to see in his eyes. She thought she saw the love that she had for him looking straight at her. Something inside her told her to show him that she loved him but then again she had doubts about his feelings for her so she decided to let it go. Opening her eyes she realized that she was back in her office at her desk. The moment she turned back to her computerto begin working, Booth walked thru her office door. "C'mon Bones we, have a new case." he said with the smile that she loved. She returned a smile and quickly got up. She walked over to where he was standing and they walked out of the lab close together and inside she felt happy that she was finally near him. THE END | ||||||||||

Did anyone like it???? Its my 1st fanfiction so i think its not the best but i would love to hear your opinions on it.
